Oh, so naive.
Simon unwraps his Mcspicy burger’s wrapper while flipping through the newspaper, and without looking at it, he took a huge bite. Angel eyes widen, and points at his half-eaten burger. “What?” Simon questioned. “OH MY GOD! A cockroach!” Upon hearing that, Simon spits it out. “Oh, just a joke, dude.”
Broken promise.
Looking out of her window, watching the last drop of the rain, Wendy jumps off her bed and runs down the stairs to look for her mum. Trusting her mum to remember their promise, she quickly packs food into the picnic basket. “Wen, you’re making a mess in the kitchen!”
Lost Valentine
Maggie meddles with her first Valentine’s Day gift, it is a simple necklace with her name engraved on it. But to her, it’s not just a simple necklace, but her first love, and a lost one. Memories flashes through her thoughts whenever she starts meddling with it, those thoughts are ineradicable.
The Wrong Chase
“Why are they chasing me so fervently? What have i done?” Lionel thinks to himself as he continues his escape. “he’s not Adam Cheng! We got it wrong!” One of the girls exclaims when they finally catch up with him. Lionel gives a sigh of relief when the crowd disperse.
Monster from the Basement
“Grrrrrrrr” goes the strange sound again. Vans knows that it’s coming from the basement but he just isn’t ready to face the creature. ” Need a weapon, maybe a chopper or something?” Vans grabs a chopper from the kitchen, and slowly down to basement to meet the creature face to face.
Story 1 & 4 are good but 2,3 & 5 are more like extended openers. It takes practice but the skill here is to tell a story, with a beginning, middle and end within the word limit. Good try.
