Ah, people watch. I guess this is so much challenging than the other few assignments cause i dont like staring at people. AND even if i do, they will know straight that i’ve been staring at them. So, it is seriously a tough job for me.
OK, so as usual, i was at Coffee Bean with my friend. Not exactly doing assignments, but studying different kinds of people walking pass us ( typical thing to do when we’re bored ). And so, we came across this two middle-aged couple ( i suppose ). And i cant help but to stare at the lady ( eh, just find her interesting! ), she was wearing a cream white dress and using a white scarf to cover herself.
After a long observation, i realise she kept crossing her legs, and then placing it down again. She did this most of her time, and it somehow reflects to me that she wasn’t actually very comfortable with her sitting posture. She even made a few weird sound, that sounds like she is kind of irritated by something. She was reading a book once she sat down on her seat, which she borrowed from the library, as i can observe a plastic coating with some barcodes on it. The book she was reading is about some Christianity ( saw the cross on the book ), so i guess she just came down from a nearby church to maybe relax down at coffee bean to have some drink ( afterall, it’s a sunday afternoon! )
The lady slowly put her book down, and start placing some papers on the table, Ah, so actually the book is for her to relax down her mind, or maybe to give her some inspiration to start on her work. Her feet were both placed on the ground later, and it really shows concentration in her work. And for way longggggggggggg, and i mean reallly LONG! her posture didnt changed much, only maybe her arms and hands, which were like writing and scribbling and sort. She stayed on her seat all the way, until her husband kind of do a head signal, that it’s time to head home.
From her, i can seriously see real concentration ( which i really envy her about, cause i cant concentrate like she do ).

Your observations on the first character lacks the description of physicality and detailed thoughts on actions and behaviour while the second one is full of this. It’s important in true observation to be detailed, like you are in the second one so that you can use all those details to craft your stories.
